Mark Sarich
Director, LNAC
Mark founded the LNAC in 1994 and has been the driving force behind the LNAC Orchestra programs since its launch in 2009. A longtime educator, Mark has taiught music theory, musicianship, composition, performance, and histry at multiple colleges and universities. he served on the founding Board of Directors for El Sistema USA and is recognized for his decades of community work blending music, education, and social change.
Gelinda Cavell
Administrative Manager, Orchestra Programs
Gelinda joined LNAC in January, 2025 and brings with her a broad range of experience. She has worked with for-profit and non-profit organizations and is a proponent for building community. Gelinda is dedicated to the growth of the orchestra program and stewards our efforts in outreach, realtionship building, recruitment, fundraising, and events.
Abigail Meyers
Program Lead, Violin and Viola Instructor
A recent graduate of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Abby earned her Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance under the guidance of Dr. Lenora Anop. She has completed long-term training in the Suzuki method and is a registered violin teacher with the Suzuki Association of the Americas. Abby combines the foundational principles of the Suzuki method with her own teaching practices, developed over seven years of experience working with students of all ages. Abby leads our JUMP program and provides lessons to students in the LCO..
