PERFORMING AT LNAC
ARE YOU INTERESTED IN PERFORMING HERE?
LNAC is particularly interested in performers experimenting with electronic and computer-generated composition and extended technique. We want performances that engage both visual and musical arts, especially when designed to promote social change. We are excited to host young instrumental and vocal performers seeking a recital venue, as well as young composers or innovators seeking a venue to present and improve their work.
LNAC is focused on being a welcoming space for young performers, especially those creating experimental and unique sounds. This means our venue is not appropriate for everyone.
Please contact our director about the nature and content of your music before trying to set up the space.
HOW TO SET-UP A SHOW
- Send an email to our director at [email protected]
Include:
- Several samples of your work.
- What date (or dates) you wish to perform
- If you are touring with another performer/group, include samples of their work as well.
- If there are local performers you have contacted to perform, or performers you would like to have on the bill
- Make sure to give us at least 6 weeks advance notice. We come to a committee agreement on all performers in about a week. And we will need to start the publicity as close to 6 weeks as possible.
